The adapter is used to flush the refrigerant circuit to remove impurities in the refrigeration circuit, in case of ambiguities about the amount of oil in the refrigeration circuit or in case of internal damage to the air conditioning compressor.
Flushing is required after replacing certain components according to the vehicle-specific repair guide.
